Nobody reads my journal, do they?  Hmm?  Anyone?  Didn't think so. Not that it matters much, because I only update it every six months! So, what's new?  Well, not much, actually.  I put slightly higher rear springs in the Beasty (it's not The Beast any more, but more on that later) the other night 'cause it was draggin' the bum, and I hate that look.  It's running pretty well, I just bought a set of reco'd injectors 'cause the ones in it have had it, and the gear box is still quite "the gay", to quote Transporter 3. OMG, how did it get to be 2009?  The year went by REALLY quickly, didn't it? How is everyone?  I haven't writen a journal entry since May, but not a helluva lot has happened to me since then. I have a new (and fairly beastly) poota, so now I have no trouble running HL2 Episode 2 at full graphics with 16x AA, Far Cry 2 runs at almost highest settings with no lag, and so it is for the rest of my games (apart from Crysis - it's getting on but you still need a few grands worth of poota to run it well).  Dual core is good, people, so are RAM prices. OMG, guys, another incredible thing has happened: I bought my first car!!!! Yes, Bessy is going back to mum, and (name still in development) will be my car for the forseeable future. OK, who wants the specs?  No-one?  Well, too bad! She's a November '94 EF Ford Falcon GLi; that really dark blue-green you see lot's of 'em in; dead stock.  She had a Tickford duel-fuel system fitted, but the woman who owned it before the couple I bought it off had the gas removed because she was scared the tank would explode!  Bah ha ha!!!  I'm getting the gas refitted on the 21st, so I'll be drivin' her to work from then on.
